“Abriendo Caminos” is an in-house education program, that started 4 years ago, it gives employees the opportunity to complete their High School studies. It’s sponsored by Termoencogibles, with help from El Salvador Ministry of Education. Recently Termoencogibles celebrated the 4th promotion of Graduates, class of 2016. “We are very proud to be part of the development process of our colleagues and in turn support our country’s progress”, said Arturo Tona, Termoencogibles’ Director. After 24 months and with more than 600 studies hours, this year 32 employees, of different ages, received their high school diplomas. “Today is a special day for us, because we have successfully finished high school. We really appreciate the commitment of the Board and thank them for their interests in helping others”, said José Menjívar, graduate student. Congratulations to all graduates, especially to: José Luis Calderon who was recognized as first student of the Year; Maynor Alexander Espinoza and José Menjívar for their dedication, they received second and third place respectively.
Termoencogibles believes that celebrations and entertainment are also important aspects in the development of its work team.Usually held on the last weekend of November, the year-end celebration includes all employees and their families. Each year there is a special theme assigned, which is geared to reinforce the values and principles by which Termoencogibles does business. During the event, different entertainment activities are held to provide enjoyment for all: young and adult alike. Activities range from gifts, raffles, arcade type games, fun dynamics, music shows, health care stand, and of course snacks and a meal. Important information of the year’s performance is shared, as well as, future plans and the possible challenges to be faced. Another tradition is to recognize employee loyalty, awarding prizes to those with 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years working for the company. Additionally, those employees who have perfect yearly attendance records receive prizes too. Thanks to the more than 300 volunteers, who make these celebrations possible and better every year.

Under this slogan, Termoencogibles, believes that investing in the development of human talent is the pursuit of success and continuous improvement, achieving international leadership. With this commitment to implement actions that support the development of human talent we started more than a year ago "Abriendo Caminos" (open gateways), an educational program aimed at adults collaborators, who want resume their secondary education free. “Abriendo Caminos” Program aims to develop the educational skills of employees to enhance their professional development and staff with suitable academic level posts in the said level required. In February this year, Termoencogibles performed the closing of the first cycle of the program, with graduation Promotion of the First bachelors of the Republic, benefiting 67 collaborators of the organization, who now take an important step in the development process having a higher level academic skills enabling them to increase their chances of growing up in the professional and personnel. This program is developed in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and the Universidad Francisco Gavidia. Congratulations to all our employees and their families, especially to the honor roll promotion, which in turn, exceeded two points, the national average of PAES.
